An early account of the shooting death of "Soapy" Smith, a swindler who ranged the town of Skagway during the Klondike Gold Rush. He was one of the more colorful early characters of Skagway. This copy was scanned from a 1972 printed reproduction of the original booklet which was published in 1907.
