Description:

Layla is a Palestinian woman born during a time of great change and sacrifice. She witnessed the diaspora of her family during the war in Palestine in 1948. Torn between her Middle Eastern culture and the Western way of life, she chases the dream of success and love. Her journey takes her all over the world from Kuwait to Paris to Abu Dhabi and finally to America. After war, near death, marriage, and divorce, Layla's life takes another dramatic turn when she falls in love with a Jewish American man.
