Description:

John Freeman is a twenty-one year old who works to establish himself as a businessman in a small town during The Great Depression. Southton isn't hospitable to newcomers and when circumstances force him to make a living selling condoms, people reject him. Their considering him a pariah makes hypochrites of them.
