Description:

It appears to be a general history of the development of some of the Parishes of England. It describes how they developed over time, how their records came to be kept and when Church, King & Parliament imposed requirements. It relates to southern England and as far north a West Yorkshire.It contains no actual records suitable for a genealogist.
