The title translation reads: "Red Soil Shaal tree" the area of the people of the soil - "laal Maati Shaal Bon". In the state of west bengal in India the book covers different village and jungle areas of Belpahari, Binpur 2 block, West Midnapur, Shilda, Joraam, Jamjurki, Kankrajhor, Odolchua, RimraDanga, Chirakuti, etc.
