Description:
On the spine of the book is " GOFFE'S MINERAL WATERS." I am missing front and back covers so not sure colour of book. The book is small in size, possibly pocket size. The first and second pages are advertisements, followed by an index page. There is a "Cyclists' Lighting-up Table" and a "Gearing Table" on the next few pages. The book contains 29 different cyclist routes. There are 148 numbered pages and show quite detailed illustrated routes. The book also gives a detailed history of the different villages you can travel through. "IPSLEY" is the last place to travel and on last page the book tells of a time "Before the conquest the Manor was possessed by Earl Algar. The Husband family came into possession in the reign of King Stephen." Truly a great book!
