Description:

Historical essays about Lennox and Addington county (eastern Ontario), organized by theme. There are chapters about the history of each of the old, lower-tier municipalities (the townships and villages and the Town of Napanee) and by specific subjects such as the rebellions, sports and industry. Many members of the Society contributed to Glimpses. However, the Lennox and Addington Historical Society wishes to acknowledge that this book was almost entirely written and edited by historian, James A. Eadie, although his role went unrecognized.
