Description:
I had the pleasure of knowing Rev. James Thompson for about two years prior to his passing. This wonderful little book is his autobiography and reveals the spiritual travels of a passionate man of God. He is mainly known as the Animal Padre but I knew him as a man who desired that all come to a saving faith in Jesus Christ. He tells of his life growing up in Scotland, England and Wales. Much of his formative years were spent in Holywell, Wales where he had the goal of becoming a Baptist minister (he attended and even preached Bethel Baptist Chapel in Holywell). Over the course of his ministerial life he traveled through several denominations and ended his life as an Anglican minister. The book is engaging and leaves you wanting him to continue on. Sadly, his wife, Doreen, never completed that project prior to her passing in 2016.
