Kidbrooke

Description:

The Medieval village of Kidbrooke with its church and manor house fell into decline in the 15th century. The church became derelict and the village became a small hamlet in a farming landscape. It remained predominantly rural until the 1930s when it was overwhelmed by housing development and became a London suburb.
