Little Rudy Logan is in the center of things with his guardian, the widow Hallie Lane, who is being courted by the city official, Koyt Frazer and newcomer Doc Hawkins. Sheriff Thurston Dale is on the trail of a peeping Tom; being harassed once again by the mangy Stafeys; and riding hard on the criminal Tink Orley. The zany Red Sox baseball team keeps everyone laughing as they strive to repeat as Sandhill League champions.
