The yet unpublished notes found in the manuscripts of the Latvian poet and publicist, so-called decadent Kārlis Krūza (1884-1960) concerning the Latvian poet and writer Fricis Bārda (1880-1919), allows the reader to get to know somee less known aspects of the poet’s life peripetia. The introduction is devoted to two questions: F. Bārda’s studies in the University of Vienna, and his work in the Baltische Technische Hochschule. Second Part: Māris Vecvagars. Two ‘Faces’ of Jānis Poruks in the House of Jesters. Kārlis Krūza. Streems of Dreams: Notes on Jānis Poruks. The yet unpublished notes found in the manuscripts of the Latvian poet and publicist, so-called decadent Kārlis Krūza (1884-1960) concerning the Latvian poet and writer Jānis Poruks (1871-1911), allows the reader to get to know some less known aspects of the poet’s life peripetia. The introduction article to these notes is devoted to two notions (two ‘faces’) of Jānis Poruks in society of the Latvia (House of Jesters).
