Description:

Psychological suspense of the highest order. An autistic girl rescued from Guatemala by a Canadian psychoanalyst kills him. Or does she? In any event, she is found guilty and sent to a surreal hospital for the criminally insane in Canada's far north. The doctor's longtime lover is distraught over the crime. She loved both the doctor and the girl, Inez, and sets out to discover what happened, and why, facing her own demons along the way.
