Description:

Reading guide to Tristan el Joven, an anonymous sequel to the Arthurian romance Tristán de Leonís. The only known edition was published in Seville, 1534, together with an expanded edition of Tristán de Leonís, under the title: Corónica nuevamente enmendada y añadida del buen cavallero don Tristán de Leonís y del rey don Tristan de Leonis el Joven, su hijo. The 1534 edition comprises "Libro primero," an edition of Tristán de Leonís with interpolated chapters about the children of Tristan and Isolde, and "Libro segundo," captioned "Comiença el segunda libro del rey don Tristán el Joven," concerned chiefly with the adventures of Tristan's son in Spain.
