Description:
In July 2012 in the Philippines, Natalie Vellacott, a former Police Sergeant in England, was working with a small team from the Logos Hope Ship. The team was conducting daily street evangelism using a book table which had been set up on a footbridge running between Subic Bay and Olongapo City. The team soon began to receive unexpected visitors in the form of approximately 20 street teenage boys who were regularly sniffing solvents underneath the bridge. This is Natalie’s true account of events following the initial encounter. It details the many ups and downs, highlights and lowlights , as the team sought to build relationships and share the Gospel with this side-lined and often detested minority known locally as “the rugby boys.”
