This manual is a step by step guide for congregations to create a narrative budget that transforms line items and dollars into the story of the mission and ministry the congregation represents. "Narrative budgeting is the means of presenting your congregation's yearly budget in descriptive terms. ...When members of your congregation see that their budget addresses real needs in the lives of people, and that their involvements and contributions are of significant value in supporting such mission, they are more likely to be generous in their giving.
