Description:

In order to pacify the French, whose zone of occupation it is near, the German police request that Tommy Hambledon come to get to the bottom of things. The "things" include stolen jewels and purloined airplane plans, international hit men, professional gangsters, security police of various nations, German crooks, and Polish fanatics.
