This book is a tips, hints, review, strategy, and walkthrough guide to 28 Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) games, and two Game Boy (GB) games. It also has 5 short NES tips, and 1 short GB tip. The book describes each game in its main section by; 'Type', the name of the 'Manufacturer', the games 'Objective', the 'Layout' of the game, it's 'Hero', the players 'Opponents', in game 'Menu', the games 'Scoring', 'Strategy' for the game, and finally a 'Rating' (using A+ to F grade ratings) for the games 'Challenge', 'Graphics', Sound, and how good of a 'Simulation' it is. At the end of each game review there is a 'Cross Reference' to other games with similarities. Occasionally passwords to more advanced levels are also presented. Of the 28 games reviewed, there are 6 game reviews that were also seen in 'How to Win at Nintendo Games' 1-3, although slightly rewritten for this edition, while the rest are new for this book. There are no screenshots for the games.
