Description:

Galley proofs, corrected in Kipling's hand, in preparation for the 1899 ed. of "From sea to sea." Only "Letters from Marque" was retained in the published version. The other parts were not published in book form until 1920, when they were included in "Letters of travel : 1892-1913."
