Description:
This book is about the Millerite Movement of the 19th century, under the leadership of william Miller who believed that Jesus Christ would return to this earth personally and visable in 1844. Having set a date for that event which did not transpire critics began to come up with all kinds of lies about the Millerites. The author examines in detailed the critics charges and shows quite clearly that what the critics had claimed about the the Millerties were untrue. For example, the Millerites never sat upon roof tops waiting for Jesus to return, nor were they wearing white robes, and nether did anyone among them go insane.
