Description:
"The Adventure of the Musgrave Ritual" is a short story by Arthur Conan Doyle, featuring his fictional detective Sherlock Holmes. The story was originally published in Strand Magazine in 1893, and was collected later in The Memoirs of Sherlock Holmes. Unlike the majority of Holmes stories, the main narrator is not Doctor Watson, but Sherlock Holmes himself. With Watson providing an introduction, the story within a story is a classic example of a frame tale. It is one of the earliest recorded cases investigated by Holmes, and establishes his problem solving skills. ---------- Also contained in: [Adventure of the Dancing Men and Other Sherlock Holmes Stories](https://openlibrary.org/works/OL1518117W) [Annotated Sherlock Holmes. 1/2](https://openlibrary.org/works/OL1518438W) [Best Stories of Sherlock Holmes](https://openlibrary.org/works/OL14929901W) [Boys' Sherlock Holmes](https://openlibrary.org/works/OL8696809W) [Eight Great Sherlock Holmes Stories](https://openlibrary.org/works/OL1518171W) [Extraordinary Cases of Sherlock Holmes](https://openlibrary.org/works/OL14930075W) [Favourite Sherlock Holmes Stories](https://openlibrary.org/works/OL16344900W) [Memoirs of Sherlock Holmes](https://openlibrary.org/works/OL262598W/Memoirs_of_Sherlock_Holmes) [Memoirs of Sherlock Holmes](https://openlibrary.org/works/OL19842545W) [Memoirs of Sherlock Holmes. 1/2](https://openlibrary.org/works/OL18188831W) [Mysteries of Sherlock Holmes](https://openlibrary.org/works/OL15548953W) [Sherlock Holmes](https://openlibrary.org/works/OL14929840W) [Sherlock Holmes: Master Detective](https://openlibrary.org/works/OL14930421W) [Sherlock Holmes Mysteries](https://openlibrary.org/works/OL1518392W) [Tales of Sherlock Holmes](https://openlibrary.org/works/OL1518418W) [Treasury of Sherlock Holmes](https://openlibrary.org/works/OL262548W)
