"In an agricultural context, the word 'enclosure' refers to an area of land surrounded by a boundry ... In Britain, farmers have since Neolithic times enclosed sheep in walled structures called sheepfolds. Beginning in 1996, Goldsworthy undertook a highly ambitious project that involved restoring sheepfolds spread throughout Cumbria." It is this extraordinary project that forms the core of Enclosure.--pg.9.
