The exhibition "Haiti is alive still there" presents 300 never exhibited before art works comprising vibrant colors satin flags embroidered with Voodoo cult symbols and mystical hand stamped bottles, depicting part of the Haitian tradition of a people who saw their country almost destroyed by the earthquake of January 2010. Parts of the exhibited works are from the collection of Doctor Jacques Bartoli, one of the greatest art collectors of Haiti. Includes close to 70 images produced by photographers Caio Guatelli and Anderson Schneider, sent to Haiti to record the disaster in the first months of 2010 and 11 pictures of researcher and anthropologist Pierre Verger, taken 40 years ago.
