Description:

Contains a biography and the collected works of Khri-rgan ʼJam-dbyaṅs-thub-bstan-rgya-mtsho (born in Rebkong = Reb-goṅ, 1866-1928), founder of Brag-dkar Rdo-rje-rdzoṅ and the Dben gnas chos kyi pho braṅ, and is a reincarnation of Dgu-roṅ Dge-rgan tshaṅ a lama from Rong-bo dgon chen (Rongwo Monastery). Also called Lcaṅ-luṅ (Sbyang luṅ?) Khri-rgan ʼJam-dbyaṅs-thub-bstan-rgya-mtsho. Includes religious poetry, verses of propitiation (gsol ʼdebs), verses for the liberation of other lamas from Amdo, advice to students, instructions on writing, a letter to the Pan-chen lama Blo-bzang chos -kyi rgyal mtshan, brief historical notes on monasteries in A-mdo, instructions and texts for offerings to protector deities such as Dpa-ldan-lha-mo, Sgrol-ma (Tāra), commentaries on canonical texts, etc.
