History of Gnas-rñiṅ Monastery (a.k.a. Gnas rnying, Nenying or Naining), located near Khang-dmar in Gyantse (a.k.a. Gyangze or Jiangzi County), Shigatse (Xigaze Prefecture). The monastery was founded in the 9th century and has been affiliated with a range of Tibetan Buddhist schools throughout its history, as well as the Bon-po tradition; includes detailed biographies of its abbots and other important figures and teachings received. The main 16th century text (reconstructed from different editions and in two parts) is followed by brief works by Kaḥ-thog Si-tu Chos-kyi-rgya-mtsho (1880-1925), et al.
