convened by the mayor in pursuance of a requisition to him for that purpose, and held in the Shirehall "to consider the propriety of voting their thanks to Colonel Wardle and other patriotic members of the House of Commons for their conduct during the late proceedings in Parliament relative to the Duke of York" : together with copies of the requisition, and the resolutions of the meeting.
