Description:

This report evaluates available scientific data on the nature and extent of lingering Exxon Valdez oil in Prince William Sound and provides a detailed synthesis of the previous studies using a standardized framework for assessing the condition of resources. Animal populations determined as not recovering since the oil spill include loons, cormorants, harbor seals, harlequin ducks, Pacific herring, and pigeon guillemot.
