Description:

Fifteen-year-old Livy is plunged into adventure in 1861, when a Confederate officer in league with a Yankee counterfeiter and accompanied by a young slave boy comes to Groton, Vermont, to help the South win the Civil War by printing counterfeit money to purchase military supplies and cause inflation in the North.
