Description:

Nurit Kahana's third poetry book deals with a temporary, outsider's view of life in "The Big City" - London, UK, "The Hub of the World": A relief from living in a German Jews survivors family on Mount Carmel, Haifa, a small periphery town in Israel. "Londonity" poetry, based on a feminist point of view tells about minorities' conflicts, immigration and alienation, post-traumatic feelings toward a once loved, lost continent and more issues. Traces of the past are described and scrutinized in the light of the current changing human condition. (Nurit Kahana attended several poetry workshops during her relocation years to London and was influenced by the British Poetry scene.
