The outstanding jade pieces come from the year 500 BC to 800 AC and reflect the high level of artistic, magic, social and cultural degree reached by Pre-Columbian cultures and are evidence of social and cultural interchange between the Costa Rica Indians and the people of Mesoamerica, like the Mayas and the Olmecas.
