Description:
The title speaks for itself. The surface of the county was created by the glacial advances and retreats. The stream patterns which were once dearranged have been modified by time and a stream divide exists in the center of the county where water flows north eventually into the Atlantic Ocean and south eventually into the Gulf of Mexico. The big contribution of the book is the description and identification of the stratigraphy of the region and the surface geology. The book has been used as a basis for many subsequent publications.
