I have been requested by His Excellency the Governor of Jamaica to warn the undermentioned men, who are reported as having deserted the works, that unless they present themselves at the British Consulate at Panama ... within thirty days of this notice, they will forfeit all right to a passage back to Jamaica on the termination of their contract
