Description:
"**Born in storms, stronger than the storms**" is an autobiographical book about the organizers of the Workers Youth Union in Bulgaria, prior to and during the last World War. It depicts the lives of young activists in those dark and storm-filled days of history, when being a member of the "wrong" ethnicity or part of any resistance could and did cost your life. The writer presents a historic account of the Youth Union - its birth, organization and tactics, its members and the roles some played in the resistance movement at that time. It's an account which interrogators and traitors could not obtain from the author at the time of her exiles, tortures and imprisonment. The story was suppressed and the book remained unpublished for nearly half a century.
