Description:
Durdy Bayramov (1938-2014) was an artist whose creations revealed the richness of Turkmen culture, its ancient traditions and customs. Throughout his life Bayramov created thousands of paintings, drawings, and photographs that reflected his love and admiration for his native land. In 1981, Bayramov gifted hundreds of his works to the Turkmen Museum of Fine Arts. His selfless act was a gesture of gratitude to the Turkmen people, whose support and love Bayramov had felt throughout his artistic career. This gift became the symbol of the artist's devotion to his homeland, and to its cultural heritage. "Durdy Bayramov, From the Collection of Turkmen Museum of Fine Ats" includes Durdy Bayramov's 260 works that illustrate a significant part of Bayramov's artistic path, which will forever be preserved within the walls of the most important art museum of Turkmenistan -- the Turkmen Museum of Fine Arts--back cover.
