En 1995, une photographie prise en 1935 a surgi dans les mains de Juan Romero, le fils de Zenón : le général Lázaro Cárdenas, président de la république du Mexique de 1934 à 1940, entouré par Senobia Sánchez (alors gouverneur traditionnel de Tuxpan de Bolaños), Zenón Romero et Pascual Chino.
