Description:

Today, Zile is a district center of Tokat. However, it is like a separate world from Tokat. They do not feel that they belong to Yozgat, Amasya and Çorum. It is interesting that the people of the history of Tokat, Yozgat, Amasya and Çorum have not included Zile in their works for some reason. In fact, we cannot blame the Zilelis, nor the city's history writers. In the 15th and 16th centuries, the writers of the history of the Middle Black Sea cities could not find Zile while working on the mentioned places. Because Zile, which was a big mystery, didn't show up. It is therefore natural for Zilelis to see their urban identity in a separate place today. Even more interesting is the fact that in the 15th and 16th centuries Zile fitted within the boundaries of the town. Another dimension of the work is that Çorum birs Alaca district is also illuminated in a Zile-related manner within the history of this loss. When we include the villages of Ilisu and Alan in Amasya, the administrative structure of Zile in these centuries is revealed. As a matter of fact, the fact that the people of Zileli cannot see themselves as a part of the cities around it should be part of a pride that comes from the history, and in this respect, Zile looks like a creditor from Yozgat, Çorum and Amasya. Although this work has the title of Zile, it also makes important contributions to the history of Yozgat, Amasya and Çorum.
