Description:

Tonya and Cathy maintain this platform for people of color to share their relationships to families and foods to contrast with predominantly white cooking shows. Contributors write about thanksgiving, street tacos from San Antonio, cooking Korean dishes as a transracial adoptee, eating salad "like a Boss," and building a family through food. There is a recipe for chicken sopas and miga tacos as well as a poem about Filipino dishes. Visual elements include sketched illustrations of houses, foods with faces, a Japanese home garden, and short comics
