For the first time, the best photographs of the Caribbean Leo Matiz (b. Colombia) together in one volume. This selection evidences the convergence between Matiz and author Gabriiel Garcia Marquez. In addition to the photographs, the volume includes texts by Gerald Martin, Laura Restrepo, Miguel Ángel Flórez and Ernesto Peñalosa, who analyse the meeting points between the works of these two great artists and the influence of Macondo on their work.
