Sheets of seductive sensuality and visual power - the present volume presents a broad spectrum of contemporary drawings. The works of international artists who either work in Berlin or have close connections with the city focus on systematic-conceptual investigations of the linguistic devices and limits of the medium, whereby intermedial aspects also play a role. Works by Jorinde Voigt, Carsten Nicolai, Tom Chamberlain, Karin Sander, Malte Spohr, Frank Badur and others demonstrate the variety and quality of contemporary drawing.
