Book contains 10 mounted lithotype (collotype) plates of photographs of the town. The New York Lithotype Company was run by A. G. Bushnell, who was previously a printer in Gardner, Mass. and was Cowee's partner. The New York and Gardner Lithotype books are identical in production except that the covers are different.
