Family history and genealogical information about the descendants of James Mahin (or Mahan) who was born ca. 1740 in Ireland. He immigrated to America with his brother Thomas ca. 1760. James married Mary Stuart ca. 1771. They lived in Ohio and were the parents of seven known children. Descendants lived in Ohio, Indiana, Iowa, Nebraska, Kansas and elsewhere.
