A Grand Deception

Description:

Lovely Georgy is a bluestocking with high minded principles and is determined not to marry. Lord Maitland, returning to society after many years, is instantly smitten but can’t get her to accept his suit. Finally she runs away to take up employment as a village schoolteacher, causing her mother to develop a plan to substitute another young lady in Georgy’s place at a crucially important house party.
