This manual contains a thorough and didactic presentation of methods currently used including the most modern ones to design clinical trials and to analyse the data obtained. Based on their own clinical and pharmaceutical industrial experience, the authors explain the "Why" and the "How" of rules which may appear to be fastidious but that are always essential to obtain convincing and reproductible results. Despite the technicals aspects of subject material, the presentation is always clear and unambiguous thanks to the inclusion of tables, graphs, footnotes and references. Solutions based on experience are provided to controversial problems. This totally revised work will serve to enhance the knowledge of experienced professional in clinical drug trials.
