Volga, Iowa - Sat., Oct. 10, Whitford Farms - sale starts at 12:30 p.m., 59 head selling as 49 lots, 5 commercial cows with calves - 25 outstanding shorthorn steer calves suitable for 4-H - registered cattle - 16 bulls - 33 females - bulls are all long yearlings with good color and lots of scale - several have been used by the consignors - females include 10 cows and calves, 8 bread heifers - 15 open heifers
