Report of a meeting of African American Republicans of Mecklenburg County, N.C., to object to their lack of representation on the party's county ticket. Out of a county of 3000 African American Republican voters and 250 whites only 3 out of 38 Federal appointments were held by blacks. This was a call to the citizens for a demand for better representation.
