This summer issue contains two short stories by Ellis Parker Butler and Edwin Lefevre. Agricultural articles pertain to the nitrogen enrichment of soil, labour issues for fruit farmers, and a history of seed testing by the Dominion Seed Commissioner. Literary articles feature the literature of nature, and sporting in Shakespeare. Other articles include a reminiscence of May Day in Venice and an article on women's life on the farm.
