A Midsummer Night’s Dream

Description:

Set in Athens and a mystical forest nearby, the play follows several overlapping storylines. Duke Theseus prepares to marry Hippolyta, while four young lovers—Hermia, Lysander, Demetrius, and Helena—flee into the forest in pursuit of love and freedom. In the same enchanted woods, Oberon and Titania, the fairy king and queen, quarrel over a young boy. Meanwhile, the mischievous sprite Puck uses magic to cause confusion among the lovers, leading to comical misunderstandings and mistaken affections.
