Description:
*La hospitalidad del mundo* is a contemporary philosophical narrative about what happens when survival strips human relationships down to their most essential form. After a journey on the Pastaza River ends in disaster, a group of strangers must confront fear, vulnerability and dependence on others. What begins as a struggle to survive gradually becomes an exploration of hospitality as an encounter with difference: the moment when the stranger is no longer simply someone outside, but someone whose presence makes another way of living possible. Through a restrained and poetic narrative, the book reflects on hospitality, care, dignity, memory and the fragile bonds that allow human beings to remain together.
