Description:

The Fragments is a work of speculative literary fiction about consciousness, memory, free will, and the human need to hold on. Beginning before time with a break in perfect symmetry, it follows a recurring consciousness through the birth of gravity and life, prehistoric grief, contemporary human relationships, a near future shaped by artificial intelligence, and the far end of an intelligent universe. Across linked fragments centered increasingly on Hakan, Şafak, Moris, Deniz, and others, private memories echo larger patterns of holding, loss, choice, and recurrence. Moving between intimate human scenes and speculative cosmology, the book asks what individuality means when memory becomes complete, distance disappears, and every question can finally be answered.
