The book details the history of the Mary Hoyer doll company, and includes patterns for the 14 inch doll in knit, crochet and sewing. The most inventive are fromthe 40s and 50s. Mary Hoyer's sewing patterns were tested 3 times before she published them, so they always fit. One of the commerical patternmakers also published a few patterns for 14 inch Hoyer dolls.
