Biblical period Hebrew bullae

Description:

The collection dated mainly to second half of the 8th and 7th century B.C.E. consists of 516 bullae, all Hebrew except two, with 6 royal bullae, 50 of royal officials of Hoshea, Ahaz and Hezekiah, 13 fiscal and 7 of women, 343 of untitled men, 490 being published in vol. 1 for the first time. Vol. 2 includes 387 specimens: 88 seals (nos. 422-508), 248 bullae (nos. 509-739), and 51 stamped handles (nos. 740-781). All the items were meticulouly examined by the author and were found genuine beyond any doubt.
